MEMBERS OF ITALIAN IN ITALY

From June 2024, School Versilia is officially Member of Italian in Italy ETS: the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF ITALIAN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE SCHOOLS, accredited by the Ministry of Education and Merit (MIM).

Italian In Italy ETS is the Association of Italian language and culture schools for foreigners, operating in different regions of Italy, with the aim of ensuring professional standards, Teaching methods and services for the students enrolled to the member schools.

Why becoming members of Italian In Italy ETS ?

  • Because like the Association, we want to spread the Italian language and culture knowledge in the territory;
  • Because we promote Italian cultural and tourist experiences;

What does it mean ?

  • It means that School Versilia adheres to the Italian in Italy ETS Charter and Code of Conduct, and respects the standards for Educational and Professional Levels established by the Association;
  • Only the best schools and the best Italian programs can interact and be members of Italian in Italy ETS;
  • Our school appears on the list of the Partners with our own webpage;
  • Italian In Italy members represent the best of the major Italian cultural experiences.

Something about the Association

Italian in Italy ETS was founded in 1997, with the purpose to spread the Italian language, promoting its study and dissemination throughout the world. It promotes the cultural aspects of the Italian language (courses on the history of art, cinema and theatre, literature, cuisine and fashion).

Since its constitution, it has been constantly engaged in research aimed at improving the quality of the training processes for foreigners, organizing events and seminars to promote cultural tourism in Italy, and assisting member-schools in cultural tourism or the incoming of foreigners in Italy.

In order to pursue its aims of association committed to represent the Italian heritage abroad, and provide its services so as to effectively achieve what is planned, Italian in Italy has designed and implemented within its organization the Quality Management System based on UNI EN ISO 9001:2015.

In order to achieve these objectives, the Association undertakes to operate as follows:

  • Involve qualified organizations in the national territory for the dissemination of Italian culture abroad with a shared action programme;
  • Acquire the largest possible number of members in order to increase the representativeness of the association towards partners and important institutional entities in the tourism and cultural heritage sector;
  • Monitor the activities of the associated schools in order to detect any possible problems regarding the quality of services provided to foreign students;
  • Maintain active the necessary accreditations to retain the privileged role of a prominent interlocutor for the promotion of Italian culture and language abroad;
  • Provide courses and organize events with the aim of creating value and transfer to the recipients of services appropriate skills also and especially through the learning method based on direct experience of customs and traditions of the Italian cultural tradition;
  • Investigate the level of satisfaction of end users of the service and plan appropriate improvement actions in order to increase it as much as possible;
  • Prevent or reduce consistently non-compliances in service delivery and complaints from relevant stakeholders;
  • Take the needs and expectations of relevant stakeholders into account at all times.
